Cowon W2 Mobile Internet Device updated version has just released to the market, it features a 32GB SSD, a 4.8-inch 1024 x 600 resistive touchscreen display, a 1.33GHz Intel Atom processor, a 1GB RAM, Bluetooth, WiFi, a mini USB port, dual USB ports, TV-Out, an Ethernet port and runs on either Windows 7 Starter or Home Premium OS.

The Cowon W2 SSD will be sold for 659,000 KRW or about $591 with window 7 Starter OS or 739,000 KRW or about $663 with windows 7 Home Premium OS.

Cowon Release COWON W2 Mobile Internet Device

Cowon has released their latest Mobile Internet Device(MID), called COWON W2 in Korean market. The COWON W2 is runs with Windows 7, it has a 4.8-inch wide LCD screen with 1024 x 600 resolution, Intel Atom processor provide a lower power consumption, a high-performance virtual keyboard and Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR.

The COWON W2 is supports battery life up to 10 hours and 230 hours of sleep mode time. It also has a D-SUB, JetToolbar, SKYPE, two USB ports and voice recognation function. The COWON W2 come with a metalic case.

Tainell T500 Mobile Internet Device

Tainell upcoming Mobile Internet Device the Tainell T500 MID which has introduced last year, recently has a new info from Chinese Engadget which has shown same picture of this device and also some of the features is has been revealed. The Trainell T500 MID will comes with a 5-inch 1024×600 touchscreen, 1.6G Atom Z530 processor, 1GB of RAM which can be upgrade to 2GB, 32GB SSD, a 1.3-mega pixel camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity and it compatible with Windows 7, Windows XP and Linux. There is no word on pricing.

Today, another Mobile Internet Device has been announced in China market which known as SmartQ V5 HD MID. Its runs with Google Android and also compatible with Ubuntu Linux, and Windows CE 6.0

The SmartQ V5 is an HD Mobile Internet Device with comes with 4.3-inch WVGA resistive touch screen, a 600MHz ARM11 processor( has an ability to overclock to 800MHz with latest firmware update), 1080p HD video playback, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, 3D Graphics and Video, an SD card slot supporting capacities up to 32GB, mini-HDMI/AV outputs, 256MB of DDR2 RAM, USB 2.0 OTG, 2GB of local storage and support for the major audio and video codecs.
