Sonnet has released Fusion D800P2 mass storage solution, it comes with eight rooms for SATA hard drives. The Fusion D800P2 features two high performance SATA II port multipliers, each managing four drives.

With data throughput fast enough to support multiple streams of DV, HDV, DVCPRO, ProRes 422, or uncompressed 8-bit 1080i HD video, without the need of an expensive dedicated RAID controller card.

Fusion D800P2 storage system provide write speed up to 400 MB/sec and read speed up to 470 MB/sec data transfers. Available in 4,8,12 and 16TB. The system uses just two locking eSATA data cables to connect the enclosure to a SATA host controller card.

You can set up drives in software-configured RAID 0 set for speed, RAID 1 set for redundancy, RAID 10 for combined redundancy and speed, or JBOD for archiving data. Price can be describe as follow :
