I-O Data Introduces BRD-U8S 3D Blu-ray Writer

I-O Data have develop a new external 3D Blu-ray writer called the BRD-U8S and will released it soon in Japan market. The BRD-U8S comes with a USB  2.0 connection interface, and a 4MB of buffer memory. The I-O Data BRD-U8S 3D Blu-ray support and capable to provide write speeds up to 8x for BD-R (SL/DL), 2x for BD-RE, 12x for DVD-RAM, 16x for DVD-R/+R,  6x for DVD-RW, 8x for DVD-R/+R DL and DVD+RW,  48x for CD-R and 24x for CD-RW.

The BRD-U8S 3D Blu-ray player will be available in Japan starting early next month for about $233.
