Philips introduces their latest Freeview HD Personal Video Recorder(PVR), the HDT8520 HD recorder. The Pace designed HD Recorder supports 1080p HD up-scaling, 500GB hard drive enable you to storage up to 125 hour of HD Video, a USB and an Ethernet port for enhanced connectivity. HD Personal Video Recorder also supports an 8-days EPG, Parental locking and the recorder only consume less than 1W when it on standby mode.
Philips also introduced a new HD receiver called DTR5520 HD receiver, its offer which offers superior sound and great quality picture. Both HDT8520 and DTR5520 will released in UK on April 2010, and the price will be at £299 or about $447 (for the recorder) and £159 or about $238 (for the receiver) respectively.
