NEC recently has introducing its two new models of NP Short Throw projector, the wide-format NP510WS and standard aspect NP610S.
The NP510WS and NP610S basically has the same features such as short throw lens, which eliminates shadows on the screen along with projected light in the presenter’s eyes created by traditional front projection systems, an Automatic Vertical Keystone Correction, Auto Sense, a built-in 7-watt speaker, Ethernet LAN port, VGA and DVI-I PC input.
The NP610S boasts 1024×768 resolution, 600:1 contrast and 2600 lumens meanwhile NEC NP510WS features 1280×800 native resolution, 600:1 contrast ratio and 2100 lumens. Both projector has an ECO Mode technology which will extend the lamp life up to 5000 hours, less power consumption and noise level up to 29dB for nearly silent.
NEC NP510WS and NP610S projectors is expected to shipped in January 2010 with estimate price at $949 for NP510WS and $999 for NP610S.
