Coronavirus: Arnold Schwarzenegger donates a million dollars

In the corona crisis, doctors and nursing staff have to do extraordinary things – at the same time they are often at particular risk. “Terminator” actor Arnold Schwarzenegger wants to support these “real action heroes”, as he announced on Instagram.

He was against just sitting on the couch and complaining about how bad everything was. “I have always believed that we all have to do our part to improve things,” said Schwarzenegger. “I donated a million dollars,” wrote the 72-year-old, asking his fans to donate as well. The money goes to the “Frontline Responders Fund”, which claims to provide medical personnel with protective equipment.

Schwarzenegger is not the only celebrity who is involved in the fight against the corona virus. The #WeKickCorona initiative, which was launched by football professionals Leon Goretzka and Joshua Kimmich and has since been supported by other players, received a lot of attention.
