Finally, Sony has entered the tablet market with announcing their first tablet called S1 and S2. The S1 is optimized for rich media entertainment and S2 tablet is ideal for mobile communication and entertainment. Both new tablet are runs with Android 3.0 Honeycomb which designed for tablet with larger screen sizes. They also supports WiFi and WAN (3G/4G) compatible which allow you to browse internet and also access to digital content and access digital content including videos, games and books through Sony’s premium network service.
Sony S1 Tablet features a 9.4-inch display for enjoying the web and rich content on a large screen with 1280 x 800 resolution, a 512MB of RAM, 32GB of memory, powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 Processor, a front and rear cameras, compatible with Wi-Fi and 3G/4G, and can be use as a remote control on Sony products.
While Sony S2 tablet has two 5.5-inch displays that can be folded for easy portability with 1024 x 480 pixels displays, and powered by NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, come in book-style layout and compatible with WiFi and 3G/4G, while the RAM and memory are still unrevealed.
Sony’s tablet also given an experience to enjoy cloud-based service on-the-go at any time. Unfortunately, no word on availability and pricing.
