Sony has roll out its latest 8x external DVD writer called DRX-S77U. This slim external DVD writer come with a 19mm of thick, and the DVD writer provide maximum write speeds of 8x for DVD±R, 8x for DVD+RW, 6x for DVD-RW, 6x for DVD±R DL, 5x for DVD-RAM, 24x for CD-R and 24x for CD-RW.
The Sony DRX-S77U external DVD writer also has a 2MB of buffer memory and a USB 2.0 port for connect to your PC or notebook and it also package with Nero 9 software. This external DVD writer is available in various colors such black, gold, pink and white. Unfortunately no word on pricing and availability.
