American Industrial Systems(AIS) has announced the SRT10IAZ, a lightweight rugged touchscreen tablet PC. This new portable tablet PC is designed for data entry, mobile point of sale(POS), and monitoring.
The AIS SRT10IAZ has meet the MIL-STD-810F compliance which suitable for used at an extreme condition, this tablet PC is waterproof, dustproof, shockproof and anti-vibration device.
The SRT10IAZ tablet PC features a 0.4-inch LED-backlit LCD screen with 4-Wire resistive touch panel, it powered by Intel Atom Z530 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 1.8 hard drive and it supports Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and 3.5 G WWAN connectivity.
Other features includes a PCMCIA Type II slot, two USB 2.0 ports, VGA output, RS232 port, a SD card slot, a docking connector, an audio jack and SIM card slot. It runs Windows XP Pro Embedded or Windows XP Embedded. It will cost you for $1,699.
