Buffalo Unveiled TeraStation the New NAS Device

Buffallo has unveiled their latest Network Attached Storage device called the TeraStation TS-XEL/R5. This new network Attached Storage has comes with three optional storage capacity to meet your need, they are 2TB, 4TB and 6TB.

The actual storage unit may be RAID 0.5, RAID 5 or even RAID 10 hard drives and this TeraStation TS-XEL/R5 will be able to manage up to four hard drives. The TeraStation features Hot Swap functionality for able to instantly power down a drive in case of failure, allowing for its safe removal without endangering the other drivesĀ  housed inside of it.

The TeraStation also features two USB 2.0 port, dual Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, compability with Appe’s Time machine allows you to increased backup functionality and assures the possibility for data retrieval in the unlikely cases when data does get lost or corrupted.

The TeraStation TS-XEL/R5 will be available soon around one or two week ahead with price at $946 for 2TB, $1,180 for 4TB and $1,535 for 6TB.
